Industry wide lobbying
From international engineering firms, to Motorola, to the billboard industry, bio-hazard industrial users, the fireworks industry or representing the successful public bidder for what is expected to become the largest Commercial development in Pinellas County, Pressman & Associates, Inc., has had a hand in being sure these clients are all very successful with our area’s elected and appointed officials. The firm stays intensely involved with all local and State political campaigns throughout the Bay area and State – either by grass root volunteering or fundraising for incumbents and candidates or being an integral part of the campaigns’ strategy team.

Land Use Consulting
These activities include literally hundreds of cases at an extremely high rate of passage for re-zonings, variances, special exceptions, FDOT and DEP lobbying, code enforcement and fine reductions, Land Use Amendments, signage, DRI’s, interpretations, administrative approvals, vesting, access issues, docks, alcohol and wet zoning approvals, vacations, permit expediting, specific site plan review issues, transportation disputes and more.

The principal of the firm, Todd Pressman, has served by political appointment to many land use jurisdictional boards. These include:

  • Reappointed by Governor Crist to, and Former Chairman of, the Southwest Florida Water Management District Governing Board. Served through two appointments originally by Governor Jeb Bush.
  • Served by appointment to the Tampa Bay Regional Planning Council.
  • Served through an appointment by the Hillsborough County Commission to the Hillsborough County Code Enforcement Board.
  • Served through an appointment by the Pinellas County Commissioners on their Charter Review Board.
  • Developed and Instituted the Hillsborough County 5-to-1 zoning task force.
